The Original Recipe Marinara Sauce is wicked awesome–so fresh, so tasty. I live about an hour away from Colchester, VT and first heard about Dell’Amore sauces on the local TV station. In response, I ordered a couple of jars and they were fantastic. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t bother making my own sauce any more, preferring to rely on Dell’Amore.

As amazing as the sauce is, their shipping is equally impressive. I ordered several jars on a Friday two weeks before Christmas, fully expecting it to take a week to 10 days to arrive given what shipping is like here in Vermont in the winter, especially around the holidays. The first batch I had ordered was shipped via FedEx (the only national carrier that reliably delivers up my hill). So I was expecting to get a shipping notice sometime the following week with arrival shortly before Christmas, if I was lucky. Then “much to my wondering eyes” I looked out of my window on Monday morning and saw Green Mountain Courier delivering my sauces–essentially the next business day. How amazing is that?

Seriously, you can’t go wrong with Dell’Amore sauces. Two thumbs up!

I’ve long been a fan of all Dell’Amore’s culinary creations. There’s a little bit of heaven, in every jar of marinara.

A friend in Texas, commented that he hasn’t had decent marinara sauce since his mother (who was Italian), died. So…. I ordered some Dell ‘Amore marinara and had it shipped to Texas. And…….my friend LOVES it! He even went so far as to say (in a bit of a whisper), ‘”In fact, it’s better than my mother’s “. Mission accomplished!!

I moved back to Florida – missing the sauce. One day I was in Publix grocery store and caught that Image out of the corner of my eye and it stopped me dead in my tracks. I have been buying it ever since then (often hard to find in Publix).

It is way better than any sauce – homemade, store-bought or in a restaurant. Since I am Italian-American, people want to take me to Italian restaurants – most are not good and none – even the expensive ones have a sauce like this!

Keep making it, Frank! Get it in more Publix stores and onto the middle shelves. It is often on the very top or very bottom.

We discovered Dell’Amore when we lived in Vermont for 5 years. When we moved to North Carolina we brought a case with us. What a wonderful surprise when I found out we could order it by mail. It is without a doubt THE best! It is especially appreciated because I am seriously allergic to onions and the basic sauce is completely onion free and oh so delicious!

This is the real deal! I grew up in the New York City suburbs, going to authentic Italian restaurants, and after my family moved away, I never could find Italian sauces that matched what I enjoyed as a kid…until I happened into Dell’Amore at a Florida supermarket. What a find! Now it’s all we cook with. Whenever a recipe calls for a good, rich, tasty tomato-based sauce, we go for our Dell’Amore. I order it by the case. It’s like being a kid again, only better!

Being a former neighbor of a Dell’Amore family member, I saw this in Costco ONCE and decided to try it. Being somewhat “famous” for my sauce, I was stunned to discover the Original marinara sauce of Dell’Amore is so much better than anything I have ever created. I have now been keeping it by the case in my pantry. Having high blood pressure and diabetes, it is also a very good choice for my health.

I have always made my own pasta sauce, a recipe I learned from my mother, who learned it from her first generation Italian-American friend. How I came to buy a bottled sauce, I can't imagine. But, by the greatest of good luck, it was Dell Amore, and I was thrilled. I've used nothing else ever since. What a blessing in my busy life to no longer spend hours making it from scratch.

Dell’Amore makes the very best spaghetti sauces; all of them are super-delicious. In the past I have ordered different sauces through your website. What other stores carry your products?

There is no sauce anywhere (anywhere!) that tastes like or compares with this sauce (gravy). I cannot purchase it in Florida so I either have to do a mail order or when I visit Philadelphia, I head to Costco and bring back a dozen jars with me to Florida. I cannot eat any other sauce after relishing the flavors of this bottled delight.

Been the standard in our house for many years. Many others tried and NONE BETTER!

I first heard about Dell'Amore from a man who served as the kosher food buyer at Fairway, who simply raved about your product. I tried it and loved it, and have been hooked ever since. Fairway raised the price of your sauce but he said to me, "This is still a viable product. In fact, it might be the best product in this store." I use no other tomato sauce. I especially like the Original Recipe and Sweet Basil and Garlic flavors. I don't know how you make it so delicious!

I first found Dell’Amore at Costco and immediately fell in love with it! I learned how to make gravy from my Italian grandmother and have high standards for gravy and sauce! Dell’Amore is BEYOND good! We even make Pasta e Ceci with it for a quick dinner! Of course it’s terrific on pasta, on chicken Parmesan, on everything! Wish my local Costco would get it again!!

I was first introduced to your brand of sauce when I worked for CDS in Costco, Riverhead New York. I worked alongside the owner when giving out samples and loved the taste. I have a very sensitive stomach and usually had problems with jarred sauces or homemade sauces all my life. I have no problems with Dell'Amore sauce and was devastated when I couldn't get it for a long period of time. I even contacted your company. I kept checking and have moved to Florida and was overjoyed when I saw that Publix had your sauce on the shelves. I let out a little "whoop" sound and frightened a few people around me. Your sauce is a little expensive, but its worth it to me.

This is the closest to home made I've ever had. The Sweet Basil & Garlic is my fav — love, love, love it!!

I first tasted these delicious sauces a couple of years ago at a sampling at the King Arthur Baking Company store, and purchased some jars to take home to VA right then and there! Since then I have ordered a sampling of many varieties and they are all wonderful. Fresh and authentic flavor that makes any pasta dish (or pizza!) special.

Imagine traveling many years ago on a riverboat cruise with my husband and while walking the town of Paducah, Kentucky , in the rain,

My son first served me some of this marvellous sauce about 15 years ago, and I was quite amazed at how delicious it is! I used to buy some for myself for special occasions, then decided life can be so unpredictable, so why not have the best each time! And it is THE best! I have had all the different flavours over the years, and been so happy with each, although spicy is my very favourite.
Let me add that the family who makes this great product takes their sauce and it's delivery very seriously! I've had a chance to talk to Frank and his son on occasion and I have been delighted each time at how much they care.
It does come in a glass jar, but don't worry about ordering it as it is packed so well.

Dell'Amore is by far the best sauce ever! Have been buying it since they closed their amazing pizza place on the Intervale-Filomena's-anyone remember?? They had the best sauce and sicilian pizza around.
LOVE Dell'Amore and always buy some when I find it in Hannaford. The Spicy is our favorite, kids love the marinara and Tomato Basil recipes.

Having grown up in a large Italian family where my grandmother’s homemade sauce was so wonderful, it was a challenge finding a sauce equally as great. Until we discovered Dell’Amore many years ago and we have been committed ever since. Every so often in a pinch, try another brand, but nothing comes close to Dell’Amore. Whether spicy or traditional, the sauce is perfection and reminiscent of my immigrant grandmother’s home made gravy that took hours to prepare. It is truly the best. Not another brand comes close to their authentic Italian gravy.

I saw a Women many years ago in Hannafords, in Kingston NY doing a tasting of della amore many many years ago. Hannaford carried thus sauce for several yrs and I bought a jar every few weeks! This sauce is the closest to when I used to make my own!

Its A fantastic sauce!!! When Hannafords stopped carrying it I took a day trip to VT and stocked up! Then I found out I could buy it on line, and I do this on line thing, because I've tried many jar sauces, and none compares to the taste of della amore! It has the richest tomato taste without alot of other things added! Don't ever change the recipe! You have a big hit!!!

We try to have a cabinet full of Dellamore sauces. So fresh the house smells like we are in the North End. We have to order it to be shipped often! Worth millions for every bite!

I first found Dellamore at our grocery but then they stopped caring it. Even after asking they never ordered. I love this product, love the taste, and love the convenience of it. Have your spatula at the ready because you won’t want to waste a single drop!  I look for excuses to use this sauce and there is literally not a fresher tasting sauce out there. The perfect marry of tomatoes, garlic and spices. If I had an Italian grandmother, this is the sauce I would have wanted her to make! I would honestly go to the ends of the earth to find this sauce! I have lived in Sardinia, Italy, and I have used most of the top brands of marinara sauce. I have never been as pleased as I am with Dell’Amore. Growing up with an Italian mother jarred sauce in our home was a sin. She had the time to make her sauce and it was the best in the world. These days, who has the time to buy all the ingredients and wait?
I purchased your sauce during a personal taste-test shopping trip to find a jarred sauce that best resembled my Mothers. I became more and more discouraged as I went through jar after jar. When it was time to give Dell’Amore its chance at bat….HALLELUJAH! It was like my Mother was in my kitchen cooking her sauce! I was so happy and satisfied as I ate my pasta filled fork full and sauce soaked Italian bread. I might have shed tear or two. Thank you for the food memories! Dell’Amore is the only marinara sauce my husband and I can eat. Your sauce is the only one that is easy on our digestive systems because it is less acidic and not too spicy. Every other sauce (and we’ve tried them all) gives us acid indigestion and other digestive discomfort. Also, Dell’Amore marinara sauce actually tastes like real tomatoes. Every other brand of marinara sauce tastes like a jar full of Italian spices, which always overwhelms the tomato taste. Dell’Amore is the best. We sometimes add sauteed onions and a little ground beef to it, which can’t be beat. It’s also really good in recipes like meatloaf and any other recipe that call for tomatoes. Dell’Amore makes it possible for us to eat Italian again…and more often! We just absolutely love this product.

I wanted to write and thank you for creating the best pasta sauce. My family has had many different pasta sauces, including my own “gravy” which is grandmom Rita’s recipe and cooks for over 4 hours. By far your Dell’Amore sauce is the best we have ever had.

First of all, it is all natural. We love that there are no added sugars or any additives.

On Christmas I had the best surprise. Fourteen guests were present. My first course was homemade non-frozen cheese ravioli. My family loves these. We have these on special occasions usually with my homemade gravy. Unfortunately, I was not able to make my own. This Christmas I used your Dell’Amore sauce after tasting a sample at our local Costco and purchasing the sauce.

I opened the jars prior to arrival of our guests so no one would know the sauce was jarred. My guests raved and raved about my sauce asking me what I had done that was different. No one suspected the sauce was not mine. I broke down and said the sauce was Dell’Amore. As hard as it was, I decided to give credit to your company. Everyone was amazed when they heard it was not my own sauce.

Before finding your brand, I always made it from scratch, with plum tomatoes, butter, garlic, olive oil, and basil, plus a few other spices. “I first noticed Dell’ Amore pasta sauces in the Philadelphia Italian Market over 30 years ago…and I have been ordering from the company ever since! This brand is not available in our small town, but it is worth seeking out! Dell’Amore provides excellent customer service, so ordering has always been very efficient. My teen agers loved these sauces when they were still at home, I sent them cases when they moved into their first apartments in college, and we have now nourished 8 grandchildren on pasta with Original Dell’Amore Sauce. Spicy Recipe is our other favorite. I am an avid cook, but it is wonderful to have a few convenient products that taste so homemade!
