Gerardo Di Nola pasta factory was founded in 1870 in Gragnano, Italy, which is known as “the city of pasta”. This is in southern Italy, not far from the town of Agropoli where our grandmother Filomena was born.

Capellini is a very thin variety of Italian pasta, with a diameter between 0.85 and 0.92 millimeters. Like spaghetti, it is rod-shaped, in the form of long strands.
